The moment drew strong reactions because Rishabh was seated in the audience, and many felt Ranveer’s imitation came across as insensitive, especially after he referred to the daivas as “ghosts.” Social media users quickly called out the act, saying it disrespected cultural beliefs shown in the film.           On Tuesday morning, Ranveer addressed the situation through a statement on his Instagram Stories. He clarified that his intention was only to appreciate Rishabh Shetty’s craft, writing, “My intention was to highlight Rishabh's incredible performance in the film. Actor to actor, I know how much it would take to perform that particular scene in the way that he did, for which he has my utmost admiration (sic).” Emphasising his respect for cultural diversity, he added, “I have always deeply respected every culture, tradition and belief in our country. If I've hurt anyone's sentiments, I sincerely apologise.”     The controversy began when Ranveer recreated Shetty’s Daiva performance from the film’s climax and praised him directly from the stage. During his bit, he said, "I watched Kantara Chapter 1 in theatres, and Rishab, it was an outstanding performance, especially when the female ghost (Chamundi daiva) enters your body - that shot was amazing." While Rishabh Shetty was seen laughing in the moment, many later pointed out that calling daivas ghosts was inaccurate and disrespectful, as they are considered forest deities.                Things escalated when additional footage surfaced showing Rishabh Shetty advising Ranveer not to mimic him, which sparked even more backlash. The moment has now opened a wider conversation about how public figures refer to culturally significant performances on major platforms. Ranveer’s apology continues to circulate online, drawing a mix of understanding and criticism. Rishabh has not issued a formal statement, and Ranveer is preparing for the release of Dhurandhar later this week.Also Read: Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s exchange over Ranveer’s Madame Tussauds statues wins hearts。    नई दिल्ली। देश के अरबपति कारोबारी गौतम अदाणी (Gautam Adani) के व्यापारिक समूह को भारतीय प्रतिस्पर्धा आयोग (CCI) से अहम मंजूरी मिल गई है। दरअसल, सीसीआई ने कर्ज में डूबी कंपनी जयप्रकाश एसोसिएट्स (Jaiprakash Associates) के प्रस्तावित अधिग्रहण के लिए अदाणी ग्रुप को सैद्धांतिक मंजूरी दे दी है। हालांकि, आयोग ने कहा है कि बशर्ते अदाणी ग्रुप दिवालियापन प्रकिया में जीत हासिल कर ले।,प्रेस रिजील में रेगुलेटर ने कहा कि इस मंजूरी में अदाणी एंटरप्राइजेज और अदाणी इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर एंड डेवलपर्स या अदाणी समूह से संबंधित किसी अन्य इकाई द्वारा जेएएल की 100 प्रतिशत तक शेयरहोल्डिंग का अधिग्रहण शामिल है। अदाणी ग्रुप को मिली यह मंज़ूरी इसलिए भी महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने हाल ही में फैसला सुनाया है कि कंपनियों को दिवाला एवं शोधन अक्षमता संहिता (IBC) के तहत रेजोल्युशन प्लान पेश करने से पहले सीसीआई की मंज़ूरी लेनी होगी। कमेटी ऑफ क्रेडिटर्स (CoC) द्वारा योजना पर मतदान से पहले यह मंज़ूरी लेनी होगी। इससे पहले खबरें आई थी कि अदाणी समूह ने जयप्रकाश एसोसिएट्स को खरीदने के लिए बिना किसी पूर्व शर्त के 8,000 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की अग्रिम राशि का प्रस्ताव दिया है। अदाणी समूह के अलावा, CCI ने जयप्रकाश एसोसिएट्स लिमिटेड के अधिग्रहण के लिए डालमिया भारत के प्रस्ताव को भी मंजूरी दी है।,जयप्रकाश एसोसिएट्स, रियल एस्टेट, सीमेंट, एनर्जी और होटल सेक्टर में काम करने वाली एक बड़ी कंपनी रही है। खास बात है कि इस कंपनी को खरीदने वालों की रेस में अदाणी ग्रुप और डालमिया समूह के अलावा वेदांता, जिंदल पावर और पीएनसी इंफ्राटेक जैसी उद्योग की दिग्गज कंपनियां भी शामिल रही हैं।,बता दें कि लोन पेमेंट डिफॉल्ट के बाद, जयप्रकाश एसोसिएट्स लिमिटेड को 3 जून, 2024 को राष्ट्रीय कंपनी विधि न्यायाधिकरण (NCLT), इलाहाबाद बेंच द्वारा कॉर्पोरेट दिवाला समाधान प्रक्रिया में शामिल किया गया था। लेनदार इस कंपनी से 57,185 करोड़ रुपये का भारी-भरकम दावा कर रहे हैं। कंपनी के स्टॉक्स में ट्रेडिंग बंद हो चुकी है और इसका भाव 300 से घटकर 3.80 रुपये प्रति शेयर हो गया है।。
